Music Review: LMFAO Party Rock

LMFAO

THE STAR SCOOP's REVIEW:

We really like this album! With an upbeat sound, it's the perfect disc for an all around good time. The first single, "I'm in Miami Bitch" is not to be missed. It's catchy, and as one of the summer's hottest songs, sets the stage for an album full of party tracks. Songs like "I Shake I Move" and "Bounce" shake, move and, bounce you right into the party. Songs like "La La La" and "Scream My Name" have the extras of current hip hop, including smooth rap and some synthetic vocals. This album definitely showcases LMFAO's distinct sound, and will win fans over with its disco beat backdrops that makes dancing irresistible and often take listeners back to the 80s. This first album doesn't reach very deep lyrically; it really is all about the party, and LMFAO seem well aware of the niche they're ripe to fill.

FAVORITES:

"I'm In Miami Bitch," "Scream My Name," and "La La Land"

VERDICT:

If you're looking for a party, you've found it.
