The Star Scoop:

How did you get involved with "Sweety High?"

Brittany Finamore:

I did an audition for it basically like any other role. It was really, really great writing. Once I read it, I wanted to be part of it.

The Star Scoop:

What is it like being part of a web series? It's so new and progressive.

Brittany Finamore:

I've never really done a web show before. I've mostly done television and film, so it's a new venture for me. I'm excited to see where it goes. It's really accessible for girls. It's a really smart way to go about it.

The Star Scoop:

Have you found any major differences between the web series vs. the TV shows and the movies?

Brittany Finamore:

So far it's very similar. The actual production of the web show was run really, really well. I know sometimes it can be a little bit tricky but it was very well organized. It's been really great so far.

The Star Scoop:

Tell us about your character and her role in the show.

Brittany Finamore:

Her name is Paige. She's a very theatrical character. She loves the theater. She loves the arts. Her and these three other girls are best friends. They all kind of hold each other together. They all balance each other out really well. She's kind of the one willing to take the blame for her friends a little bit, backing everybody up. Putting her friends before herself. A very selfless person. Whenever something is going wrong in her world, she kind of tends to hold it in, instead of complaining to her friends. Toward the end of the series, we'll find she's more willing to open up to people.

The Star Scoop:

Who will the show appeal to?

Brittany Finamore:

Mainly it does appeal to younger girls but it does have that family appeal. It a really, really funny show, and it's really well-written. It's definitely something girls can show their parents, show their brothers. It will be fun for everybody.

The Star Scoop:

Any stories from filming?

Brittany Finamore:

When we did the table read, the first time everyone had met, there was instantly this chemistry in the room with all the characters. We just knew right away that it was going to be a blast and we were all going to get along really, really well.

The Star Scoop:

The series is creating this internet community, a social world. What are the advantages to this approach?

Brittany Finamore:

One of the main focal points of the show is friendship. The whole website really makes it easy for girls to find other friends and find other girls to confide in, solve their problems and try to find active solutions. Also, to be entertained with the show.

The Star Scoop:

What other projects do you have coming up?

Brittany Finamore:

Yeah. I have a couple films in the works right now. I did a film called.Nowhere to Hide. I did a film called Forget Me Not. It's a horror film so keep your eyes peeled for it. I did an episode of Ghost Whisperer.. Malcolm in the Middle is on.

The Star Scoop:

What do you want to say to your fans?

Brittany Finamore:

Thank you for watching "Sweety High." I hope you continue to follow my work in the future. Just keep watching!
