You’ve been in the business for a long time as far as the industry is concerned. What is the key to such lengthy success in your opinion?
CECE WINANS:
Well I think people of all ages and all cultures are inspired by our songs. Bebe and I sing about good news love, peace and joy, music that makes you smile is always welcomed.
BEBE WINANS:
Being true in every way to who you are.
THE STAR SCOOP:
What influenced your decision to work together again after so many years?
CECE WINANS:
We never planned to let this much time go by we didn’t need to be influenced it was always our plan.
BEBE WINANS:
Nothing influenced us to make the album it was always our intentions to record again, time just got away.
THE STAR SCOOP:
Any plans for more solo work or to work together yet again?
CECE WINANS:
Yes I think we will always do both. I am planning a live worship project at the beginning of 2011 that will release in the fall.
BEBE WINANS:
Yes… both… in what order I don’t know!
THE STAR SCOOP:
You both have such a wonderful collection of songs to offer music lovers. To some of our younger readers who may not know your past work, what songs would you like to recommend to them, to expose them to your impact on the industry?
CECE WINANS:
“Heaven” is still our number #1 song actually that whole CD is loved by the young as well as the old.
BEBE WINANS:
“I’m lost without you,” “Heaven,” and “Addictive Love” would be my recommendations.
THE STAR SCOOP:
What should people take away from listening to your music?
CECE WINANS:
Happiness, Still is guaranteed to lift your spirit.
BEBE WINANS:
A good feeling and a smile that it’s all good
THE STAR SCOOP:
Is it true that your names will be added to the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2011? If so, how do you feel about the honor?
CECE WINANS:
True and I think it is amazing. Getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was not on my prayer list but I am honored and humbled that we were chosen.
BEBE WINANS:
You know we really do what we do because we love God and People and something to remind people that we were here is pretty awesome.
