Cartel “Chroma” Album Review

Carel "Chroma"

The Star Scoop’s Review:

While Cartel’s sound echoes that of other contemporary bands, the boys have been around since 2004, when they signed to The Militia Group. Now upgraded to major label Epic Records, Cartel is certainly at a disadvantage with their lack of original sound. However, this doesn’t take away from album, “Chroma,” which will certainly strike a chord with fans of the genre, since many of the songs are incredibly similar. Without being overly moody, Cartel’s first full album is an entertaining listen that serves as an introduction to the pop punk style that has taken over the radio and the charts. Cartel seems to be trying to find footing on a cliff. Either they’re going to plummet to the bottom, or they’ll learn to fly. Expect these guys to soar.

Favorites:
“Say Anything Else,” “Honestly,” “Save Us”

Verdict:
Honestly, this album is really good!
