THE STAR SCOOP’S REVIEW:
What else would one expect from funnyman Jack Black and his group, Tenacious D, featuring bandmate Kyle Gass? The songs are comedic, and work in conjunction with their latest film from the duo. Thus, humor is key in this album, and, while not necessarily for serious listening, The Pick of Destiny seems to fulfill its aim as a laughable accessory to the film, The boys are clearly having fun on all the tracks, and it shows through in their sound. For fans of Tenacious D, this is a must have addition, but for newer listeners, try one of their earlier releases.

With everything else out there, a surprisingly different pick. Go for it.
